Hunger Hurts Malaysia was formed in 2016 and is a youth led NGO that aims to eradicate poverty in Southeast Asia by providing basic necessities, equal access to education, creating sustainable solutions and raising awareness on current issues surrounding poverty to the general public.

Hunger Hurts’ projects are aimed at creating awareness on current issues surrounding poverty around Malaysia that involve the less fortunate. Some of their ongoing projects are One Meal which aims to help small business vendors which were affected by the Covid 19 pandemic while at the same time feeding the less fortunate. Other ongoing projects are Feed A Kid which provides basic necessities to families in SemenanjungMalaysia and Sabah and MaskUp which provides less fortunate families with reusable masks.
